Canadian Tire Dropping the Paper Money?
Canadian Tire is reworking one of their most successful campaigns.

The Canadian Tires in Nova Scotia will test a new campaign for customer appreciation. Much like Safeway, Save on and other grocery stores Canadian Tire will be moving to an electronic points program.

That doesn't mean that the they will be dropping their Canadian Tire money altogether, you will be given the option of the money or the points. But they will be given a one percent return on purchases for anyone who opts to use the card compared to the 0.4 percent return on the paper money.

If the test results are successful in Nova Scotia they might use it nation wide.

So that begs the question, paper or plastic?

Man has heart attack at the Heart Attack Grill.
One word, irony.

This past weekend a man had a heart attack while eating at the Heart Attack Grill.

The Las Vegas eatery is home to the single bypass burger, the double, triple and the six-thousand calorie quadruple bypass burger which the man was eating.

In the Heart Attack Grill the owner who goes by the name Dr. Jon, has his waitress dress up as nurses and even provides his customers with patient surgical gowns. Dr. Jon says, "It was no joke. Even with our own morbid sense of humor we would never pull a stunt like that."

He goes on to say that despite the name, this is the first time anyone has had a heart attack in his restaurant. The grill also gives free food to anyone over 350 pounds.

The man has been released from hospital and is recovering and should be fine.

How to Spot a Terrorist!
A new study has come out with recommendations for how you can potentially spot a terrorist.

Some on the list include people who use the internet providers ComCast and AOL because it is easier to mask information.

The article also suggests that if you are in the service industry and have a regular customer who has chemical burns, missing fingers or constantly changes their appearance, you should be suspicious.

One of the most telling features of the article is that you should be on the look out for someone who pays cash. In a world dominated by technology cash has been outdated and basically replaced with the debit card. But they warn that terrorist might use cash as a way to not leave a paper trail.

Police Officer Goes From Officer to Suspect and Back to Officer.
A rookie Sussex police officer ends up chasing himself for 20 minutes.

According to Police Magazine a rookie police officer was undercover when the police operator reported a suspicious vehicle. The police officer followed the lead and his GPS and computer IP were telling the operator that the officer was hot on the heals of the suspicious car.

After twenty minutes and no success a staff sergeant realized that the suspicious vehicle was actually the police cruiser and the reason why the GPS was hot on the car was because the officer's car was the suspect in questions.

To add insult to injury this isn't the first time the same squad has made a goof. When they launched their website, they sent out a release with the wrong website address.
